Spinal mobility, abdominal control and hamstring length all work together and dictate how this exercise feels for you. This clip uses props, found in your home to help assist the thoracic flexion and sequence through the spine. Give it a shot!

The Hip Roll…

The Hip Roll exercise in mat Pilates is all about spinal articulation. However what is great about this particular exercise is that it requires the body to be fully integrated working the front, back and the two side panels of the body. Toe taps just add to the challenge!

The Rollback…

The classic 1/2 rollback from the mat repertoire is made all the more fun by adding extra resistance using the flex band and incorporating some reformer elements!
