Reason and Power Classes
I honour Pilates fundamentals as I truly believe we have to understand and appreciate the essence of each movement and build from there. There is a reason for every movement and no matter how small, no matter what your level, this movement will translate into power. I mean that!
Class Descriptions and Insights
There are 5 live online classes each week at multiple levels. I don't believe in saying Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced class. I use terms like 'Level Up' to show progress. I say 'Staying Power' to indicate strength. 'Pilates 4x4' is a class that represents the natural movements of the spine and 'Pilates Cirque' is targeted to veteran practitioners but still welcomes all Pilates enthusiasts. Finally, the Pilates mantra of working from the ’inside, out’ is showcased in ‘Pilates HIIT’, a powerhouse class built on Pilates fundamentals layered with traditional high intensity moves.
It is important to say that consistency is key to your success! This will allow you to push the boundaries of your practise so you can see your progress each and every class. While I always encourage real life attendance that isn’t always possible so for that reason each class is recorded and posted to the virtual library so you can catch up!

The Hip Roll exercise in mat Pilates is all about spinal articulation. However what is great about this particular exercise is that it requires the body to be fully integrated working the front, back and the two side panels of the body. Toe taps just add to the challenge!
